Course Program - Version August 15, 2011 ... General Idea. Introduction. Smarter Communications (SC) Definition. Smarter Communications - when you get more then you’ve been sent. Smart Communication means generating new knowledge while passing initial information through communication media and proper delivering it. Communication media is the space of signs. Delivering knowledge should follow strict rules based on logic and social restrictions. Management of knowledge itself is not a knowledge management. New knowledge generation from initial information should be done by logical cognitive processor. So – we have to use interdisciplinary approach developing and investigating smart communication model. We have to use semiotics as theory of signs, the science of treating sign structures (texts) while using them and some other sciences including rhetoric, logic, cognitive sciences in one package. So – smart communication should be a unit including all these parts described a bit more detailed below. General Ideas that are parts of the whole SC unit – - Communication and Signs.
